Technomedics in partnership with AISEC of University of Sri Jayawardenapura, completed another project in uplifting the hygiene of children in Sri Lanka through Project “HYGEIA”. Technomedics has been in partnership with AISEC of University of Sri Jayewardenepura since 2015 involved in supporting and helping many children by conducting series of workshops via Hygeia Project. They have been conducting school sessions, Health Day Camps, workshops and other CSR events in Kurunagala distric this year.
Hygeia team Has conduct school sessions and workshop for how to prevent dental fluorosis. The presence or excess of very low concentrations of fluoride in the groundwater has been a major factor in the dental epidemiology in Ahutuwawala village.
Colour of the teeth will change from chalky white to dark brown or black. Tooth surface can be brittle or pitted. These are the main features of dental fluorosis.
