Flexicare begins manufacturing in Sri Lanka

Flexicare Lanka Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Flexicare Group, UK, is setting up a state-of-the-art modern manufacturing facility in Bandaragama Sri Lanka. This is a BOI (Board of Investment) approved project with a total investment of over 10 million USD.

This will be the first time that a fully-fledged facility is established for medical consumables and devices, with a view to export a significant amount of the products manufactured in Sri Lanka. It is envisaged that over 90% of the production will be exported, bringing in significant foreign exchange to the country and providing employment to 600 employees within the fully commercialised manufacturing site.

Technomedics has been the exclusive distributor of Flexicare for the past twenty (20) years and so proud to being able to partner in this mammoth project. The local distribution of the products will be managed by us exclusively.
